Who is Jesus?

Jesus is more than an inspiring teacher. The Bible presents Him as the eternal Son of God who became human, lived without sin, and came to reconcile us to God. His identity is the central question of the Christian faith. Begin with John 1:1–18 and John 14:6.

Why His death and resurrection matter

Jesus willingly died for our sins and rose bodily from the dead. The Christian message rests on these events: through Him, guilty people can be forgiven and receive new life with God. Salvation is received by grace through faith, rather than earned by religious performance. Read 1 Corinthians 15:3–8, Romans 5:8, and Ephesians 2:8–9.

Investigate His claims

Read the Gospel of John a chapter at a time. Ask: What does Jesus claim? What reasons does the writer give for believing Him? What would change if His claims are true? Honest questions deserve careful answers. You do not have to pretend you believe before you begin exploring.

How will you respond?

Jesus calls us to turn from sin and trust Him. Faith is more than having an opinion about Him; it means relying on Him as Savior and following Him as Lord. Tell God honestly where you are, ask for understanding, and seek a Bible-teaching local church where you can continue learning. Read Mark 1:15 and John 20:30–31.
