Why do we need hope?

We were made for a relationship with God, but our sin separates us from Him. We cannot earn our way back through good behavior or religious effort. The good news is that God has acted to rescue us. Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again. Forgiveness and new life are gifts of His grace, received through faith in Him. Read Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, 1 Corinthians 15:3–4, and Ephesians 2:8–9.

Take an honest next step

Start reading the Gospel of John. Ask what Jesus says about Himself and why His life, death, and resurrection matter. Bring your questions to God in prayer. You do not need polished words. Ask Him to help you understand the truth and respond to Jesus in repentance and faith.
