God invites you to know Him.

Knowing God is more than collecting facts about Him or following religious routines. Jesus describes eternal life in terms of knowing the Father and Jesus Christ whom He sent (John 17:3). This relationship begins with what God has done for us through Jesus.

Begin with Jesus

Our sin separates us from God. Jesus died for our sins and rose again so that we can be forgiven and reconciled to Him. We receive salvation by grace through faith, rather than earning it. Turn from sin and trust Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Read John 1:12, Romans 5:1–2, and Ephesians 2:8–9.

Grow in the relationship

  • Read a short passage from the Gospel of John. Notice what Jesus reveals about the Father.
  • Talk honestly with God in prayer. Bring your gratitude, questions, needs, and failures to Him.
  • Respond to what you learn. Trust grows as you put His words into practice.
  • Connect with a Bible-teaching local church. Ask about baptism, learning the Bible, and walking with other believers.

You do not have to manufacture a feeling or pretend to have no doubts. Begin with an honest prayer: God, help me understand who You are and what You have done through Jesus. Help me respond to You in faith.
